Your entry helps build Mikvah Yona

The Toms River community is home to 500-600 frum families, with no eiruv past Route 70, creating significant challenges for women seeking access to a mikvah.

The mission of Mikvah Yona is to provide the Toms River community with a permanent, dignified, and fully halachic women’s mikvah, ensuring that no woman is burdened by distance, lack of access, or physical limitation in fulfilling this essential mitzvah. Mikvah Yona is being built to eliminate the hardship of long walks in a community without an eiruv and to provide a local, reliable solution.

Designed to serve the needs of the entire community, Mikvah Yona will also offer weekday handicap-accessible accommodations, ensuring that every woman can use the mikvah with comfort, privacy, and dignity.

Mikvah Yona is not only about convenience — it is about access, dignity, and strengthening Jewish family life, today and for generations to come.

Before you enter.

Do I see the price before I pay?

No. You agree to pay before your ticket is drawn, with a maximum charge of $500. Your ticket number is your price: ticket #154 costs $154. Your number is drawn and charged in one step, so you never choose between prices. If your card is declined nothing is taken and the ticket goes back for someone else — a new attempt is a new draw.

How is my ticket number chosen?

The numbers and prices were fixed before sales opened. Our server draws one ticket at random from the tickets nobody has yet — you don’t choose it, and neither does the organizer. The rolling digits on screen are only the reveal; your ticket is already drawn when they start. Paying by card or charity card, your ticket is drawn and paid for before it is shown, so nobody — including you — sees a number that has not been bought.

Can someone else have my number?

Yes. Each number in this drawing is sold twice, so another entry carries the same number as yours. Each ticket is a separate entry and is drawn separately, and the price is the same whoever holds it.

How much will my card be charged?

Only your ticket’s own price, in one charge, and never more than $500. Your bank is not asked to hold any other amount, and your number is shown as soon as that charge goes through.

What if my card is declined?

Nothing is charged and no number is given out — the ticket goes back into the drawing and you can try again with another card. Because no number was shown, you are not paying for anything you have seen.

Can I pay with a charity card?

Yes. Your card is checked first, your ticket is drawn the same way, and the card is then charged your ticket’s price. If that charge doesn’t go through, nothing is taken and the ticket goes back into the drawing.

Does my ticket number tell me if I won?

No. Checkout confirms your ticket in the drawing. The winner is drawn separately, and the organizer announces the result and contacts the winner directly.

Can I enter more than once?

Each checkout is one ticket, and you can come back and enter again while tickets last. Every ticket is a separate number in the drawing. A card that is declined is not an entry — nothing is charged and no number is kept. If several attempts in a row fail, entries from your details pause and you can contact us.

Is my entry tax-deductible?

An entry is a raffle ticket purchase and may not be tax-deductible. Yad Velev’s Tax ID is 86-1741635. For anything specific to your situation, ask your tax adviser or contact the organizer.
